dashMIDI by dashByte

The dashMIDI application enables the control of Propellerhead Reason over a Wi-Fi network. If you’ve ever wished that you could start and stop recording without having to run over to your computer, this is the app for you.

Wireless MIDI… The Future is Now! by James Bernard

In my ongoing quest for new ways to use and control Reason, I have always been drawn to different and unusual controller surfaces. For the last 2 years I have been using a Wiimote to control Reason over bluetooth with success (especially in live performance)… and wondered aloud why no hardware control surface manufacturers were exploring that area. Download the OSCulator template

TouchOSC on iPod Touch by Font Monster

Touch screen app that controls some of the sliders and rotaries in reason. Needs more support and a full map to all of Reasons midi but is well worth the 3 dollars or so it costs. I wouldn’t rush out and buy a iPod touch primarily for the control surface now hough, give it a few months and things should be plug and play.

Using TouchOSC Without MIDI Yoke and Puredata by Daf Daf 321

I’m currently developing a winmm proxy plugin that allows receiving OSC messages without Midi-Yoke or PureData on windows. It manipulates specific api calls and creates a new midi in device. Every OSC-data will be translated to midi and the host application can receive it over this faked midi in device. It works great in record and reason. I think it should work with other hosts, too.
