Record as a CD Mastering Tool by Phi Sequence

So my task a few weeks ago: to turn Propellerhead Record software into a CD mastering tool. Keep in mind most of my tracks were already created in Reason and mostly fully formed. I had 12 tracks to master.

Mastering External Audio In Reason by Craig Anderton

With the addition of the MClass processors in Reason 3, Propellerheads addressed the fact that Reason had been a studio without a mastering suite. Prior to v3, people would export their masterpieces as audio files, then complain about a “wimpy” sound — until the file found its way into the hands of a good mastering engineer. Now much of that kind of work can be done inside Reason itself. Patches and ReFills

Multiband Toolbox by James Bernard

The Multi-Band Toolbox ReFill uses the Combinator as an effects device and does not contain any “sound” patches at all. It is meant to be used to process either the entire mix of a song by loading one of the patches into the Combinator Mastering Device at the top of the Reason Rack, or as an insert effect after a device that you would like to process.
