Beat Repeater V1 by Peff
This patch is all over most of the tracks I release online. The Beat Repeater is limited to 16th note resolution, so I usually double the tempo of a track to get 32nd note repeat effects.
The DJM-FX Roll by weaponX
I got the idea for it a couple months ago when I was playing with the effects section on a DJ mixer, the Pioneer DJM-800, “I wonder if something like this could be modeled in Reason?” Once again, those Props have surprised me! At the center of it’s design is a “roll” function which allows you to sample the audio output of any Reason device and play it back as a loop real-time. You then can dynamically change the resolution of the sample, allowing for cool drumroll-style effects. It also makes use of HP, LP, BP and notch filters, and a bitcrusher.
