Audio Input for Reason 4 and earlier
As of version 5 Reason supports audio input. Do yourself a favor and upgrade!

Hammer is an audio input tool for Propellerhead’s Reason. It finally lets you route ASIO audio inputs into Reason rack for live processing: just adding a reverb, doing cool voice vocoding or guitar distortion. Technically speaking, Hammer is a standard ReWire application.It hooks to Reason via the ReBirth Input Machine device so that creating such a device results in creating an instance of Hammer Device. Then, connecting the Hammer Input Panel opens the selected ASIO input and routes its signal into Reason’s rack.
Rewuschel by Asio4All
Basically, this is a ReWire input interface to the ASIO4ALL engine. The installation of ReWuschel is optional, as it replaces the functionality of the “ReBirth Input Machine” in Reason. This means that ASIO4ALL essentially will pretend to be ReBirth, so you cannot use ReBirth in Reason with the ReWuschel option enabled – keep that in mind! Note also that it only works if ASIO4ALL is selected as the current ASIO driver!
